This book is about Melody who is about 11 years old and has never said a word. She has cerebral palsy and has a wheelchair. Melody is one the smartest kids in school, and know one knows it. You get to see things from Melody's point of view and see what its like to talk and be heard from a point of view that has never taken such a chance before.
There are so many moments in this book where you feel that you could jump in and feel the pain and emotion. There are many things to embrace in this Maine student book award nominee.
